Junior Process Engineer

We currently have a vacancy for a Junior Process Engineer in our factory in Aprilia (Centre of Italy). This position reports directly to the Production Manager.

Aprilia Plant is specialized in metal closures mainly for tomato, pickles, sauce & condiments. We also develop and assemble sealing machines for our customers and equipment for the manufacturing of closures in our Centre of Engineering.

Supporting the Production Manager, the successful candidate will strive to improve our manufacturing performance by implementing continuous improvement projects and being closely involved in the implementation of structural projects. 

In close collaboration with the maintenance team, our Centre of Excellence and our main suppliers, he/she will be responsible for the development of process performances by adapting equipment, tools, defining standards & methods, tuning the maintenance plan. The implementation of industrial projects such as line modification, installation of new equipment & production lines, participation in process benchmarks throughout the company is an important dimension of the job.

Job Requirements 
For this role we expect you to have a Degree in Mechanical Engineer and a first experience acquired in a manufacturing environment (ideally in high speed lines and processes). Good knowledge of principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations including  SPC, Six Sigma, 5S, SMED and Lean Manufacturing. You have a strong working knowledge of Continuous Improvement Tools and Techniques. Good Project management skills with problem-solving organization. Organized, you are able to work effectively with autonomy and you are result-oriented and respectful of rules and safety . You communicate well and besides Italian, you are fluent in English and French could be a plus.
