Deputy Finance Director

Your Work Environment

The job would be located in Murcia, Spain, where sits our biggest plant within the Group.  As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Finance Director to join our team.

Your Mission 

The Deputy Finance Director will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. This position will support the Finance Director in managing all aspects of the financial strategy, ensuring control compliance (SOX, etc) and driving financial performance working closely with the different departments and Iberian Top Management Team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, exceptional leadership skills, easy communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist the Finance Director in developing and implementing financial strategies and policies
• Manage and present financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes
• Ensure accurate, clean, clear and timely financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital and financial risk working closely with Iberian SSC.
• Understanding of costing drivers, works on simulation projects, follow costs and margin to accompany Commercial and Operation team 
• Investment Project pay-back, cash out working closely with Operation Team
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and USGAAP accounting standards (SOX, Balance Sheet Reviews, External and Internal audit management, etc)
• Fully integrate and support the Iberian Top Management team
• Manage and mentor finance team working on continuous improvement

About You

• Proven Experience in a Senior Finance role preferably as Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Director – Audit background could be a plus
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices and regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Spanish and English fluent - Additional language would be a plus
• High level of integrity, professionalism and engagement
• Skills requirements: SAP experience, consolidation tool, etc
