About this opportunity
We are seeking for our Commercial Director for France & Benelux Region driving our strategic Food business sales.
You aim to develop, implement and control the sales business strategies and activities for the Food West Europe sales activity to achieve revenue, sales and profit targets set by the Group.
You will build clear achievable objectives for each member of the team in line with the agreed commercial strategy, and ensure the right people are in place to deliver the agreed objectives.
Finally, you will deliver the agreed commercial budget for the business.
Your key responsibilities will be to :
- Build the commercial strategy for the business by market segment and region, review and advice on commercial policies - pricing, products mix, and portfolio.
- Participate and contribute towards integrating the overall Strategy of Food Europe (5 year strategic plan)
- Manage the commercial teams by setting goals in accordance with the commercial strategy; reviewing and monitoring the sales results; adapting the strategy based on the results and the external environment.
- Provide to Key Accounts leadership and direct involvement to ensure compliance with the agreed commercial strategy.
- Works closely with Marketing counterparts and creates collaborative environment for enhancing sales growth globally. Ensure high quality data is available to aid decision making; provide NPD to satisfy and exceed customer expectations.
- Lead, motivate, challenge & develop the team.
Your profile
Functional skills :
- Excellent Packaging and Food businesses know-how & understanding, 15 years experience on similar positions
- Master degree in industrial or business engineering or economics
- Fluent English & French speaker, Dutch as a plus
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with international Customers in combination with excellent negotiation skills
- Strong sense of market opportunities for growth
- Excellent communication skills with a strong expertise in presentations
- Proven managerial and leadership skills
- Ability to build and maintain winning teams
- Proven experience in risk assessment analysis and risk mitigation plan
- Proven experience in budget management and P&L related parameters
- Microsoft Office proficient user
