In the role as Sales Development Manager, you report to the Commercial Director Promotional and work closely with the rest of the Sales Team and in close collaboration with Operations, 
Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service. You will join a dynamic business focused on sustainable solutions for the metal industry serving FMCG end markets.


As a key member of the sales team, you will: 

•    Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, generating target levels of revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding from customer base.

•    Lead annual price negotiations and provide market intelligence on competition, price, threats, risks and opportunities.

•    Develop strong relationship with key decision makers and buyers and create multi-level connections within the customer organization.

•    Understand and assess customers’ needs, business objectives, strategies alongside competitive landscape and build compelling customer value propositions.

•    Define and develop opportunities for new business as part of detailed prospecting plan.

•    Provide insights in CRM regarding quantitative and qualitative developments through periodic reports.

•    Execute business strategies and assist management in setting strategic initiatives and programs to achieve corporate strategies.

 

Main responsibilities
•    Manage key customers for the region France + Iberia. Deliver sales growth and margin targets.
•    Understand account objectives, develop commercial strategy, implement through account plan. 
•    Identify and document business potentials, competitive landscape new business opportunities, decision factors, success criteria and define action plans accordingly.
•    Build the account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus objectives.
•    Develop and build successful working relationship throughout customers organizations within R&D, Sales, Procurement, Marketing and Quality. 
•    Get clear and complete briefing from clients. Issue comprehensive action reports as per clients briefs and proactively manage the project pipeline.
•    Negotiate with clients favorable commercial terms, including payment terms, prices for new business and increases for existing items.
