About the role

As our Master Data Governance Lead, you will design, develop, and implement master data governance processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across the global Eviosys organization. This role is critical at improving data quality, data-driven decision-making, maximizing workflow efficiency, and ensuring  compliance.


You will specify, design, and implement Eviosys’ Master Data and golden record structures within transformational IT programs, including an SAP S/4 HANA deployment, an analytics program, and upgrade/replacement of a wide variety of applications across the company. You will adapt to business requirements and lead key users across the Eviosys organization in deploying these processes. You will drive the data preparation for the deployment of SAP S/4 HANA. Key interactions will be with the Digital Technology team and the Eviosys business teams in Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, HR, and Procurement, including senior stakeholders.  Leveraging your expertise and best practices will be critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy aligned with the organisation's objectives, including data quality, security, and internal and external compliance. 
  • Lead and partner the Business, designing and implementing new and/or enhanced operational processes to meet key business objectives, facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, map business processes and author business requirements.
  • Manage and maintain the master data organisation, standards, definitions, and data quality controls.
  • Establish and maintain data quality standards and processes to identify and rectify data quality issues proactively. Defining the data stewardship roles and responsibilities and lead data stewards to maintain data quality.
  • Build strong relationships with SAP stream leads and business teams to enablable collaboration with cross functions teams to ensure seamless integrations of master data across systems and applications. 
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on data governance principles and best practices.
  • Establish and facilitate and lead data governance council meetings to drive data related decisions and initiatives. 
  • Classify data, establish data security measures, and ensure data privacy compliance.
  • Maintain documentation of data governance processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring they remain up to date. 
  • Define metrics, measures, and performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of data governance efforts.

Key Skills

Essential 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate standards clearly, make them openly available, and actively share knowledge across the organisation.
  • Proven track record in setting and enforcing data standards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Experience of driving through changes and improvements in data governance practice, driving data governance initiatives forward independently.
  • Understanding of data migration tools like LSWM/LTMC, Query
  • Skilled in prioritising tasks, adapting to changing business conditions, and performing well under pressure in project environments
  • Proficient in coordinating discussions, facilitating consensus-building, and working with business leaders to identify data owners and stewards.
  • Capable of fostering productive relationships and actively listening to stakeholders' concerns and needs.
  • Works effectively within a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Strong Understanding of SAP Modules: Proficient in cross-functional processes across SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI/CO

 

Desirable

  • Functional understanding of SAP Variant Configuration software, best practices, and integration points 
  • Understanding the aspects of a variant configuration product model including classes, characteristics, configuration profiles, ALE, tables, variant pricing, functions, dependency nets with constraints, BOM class nodes, preconditions, selection conditions, procedures, complex super bills of material and routings and work centres.
